Jonathan Simpson is the Lead Pastor and Church Planter. He has been in vocational ministry for 15 years and has served on staff at churches from 100 to 1000 in attendance. Jonathan’s passion is seeing people get connected to God through a local church community that is on mission to advance the Kingdom of God. He has degrees from Grace University and Denver Seminary and church staff positions including Associate Pastor of Youth and Worship, Pastor of Student Ministries, Associate Pastor and Campus Pastor. Jonathan and his family are a year and a half into their second church planting venture. He and his wife are leading a team made up of people from 2 different Converge churches to build a new church in a major suburb of Denver. Jonathan has been married to his wife Mary for 23 years and has 3 children ages 20, 17, and 13.
Josh Barrett is the founding pastor of The Church of Celebration in Maricopa, AZ. Since starting COC in May, 2006 – they’ve seen it grow from just their family to over 1000 Maricopians who call COC their home! They have also seen over 900 people come to Christ since its inception! COC is all about one thing: “Making His Name More Famous In Maricopa.” Josh is married to Ginger Barrett and they have three kids: Isaac, Caleb, Charis.
Matt Hammett is the lead pastor of Flood Church, in San Diego, California. Flood Church developed out of Matt’s passion and vision to see an emerging generation encounter the living God in a creative and diverse worship environment. He currently serves on the international board of Children of the Nations. Matt and his wife Roxanne have four children.

Bill Bush has been in full-time pastoral ministry for over twenty-three years. After devoting his first ten years to youth and family ministry, Bill became the Lead Pastor of Rock Point Church (RPC) nearly thirteen years ago. In April of 2013, RPC reached a major milestone with the grand opening of its first building. Bill continues to serves on the Vision Arizona Lead Team, which is the regional church planting movement of Converge Southwest. Bill was also a keynote speaker at IGNITE 2011. His deep passion for leadership is exhibited through his expertise in leadership development, which is often sought after by both faith-based as well as secular organizations. With a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Christian Leadership, Bill is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Adult and Family Ministries. He and his wife, Carrie, have been married for twenty-two years; they are the proud parents of three children: Micah, Jadon and Sarai.
Jessica McNichol has been on staff at Rock Pont Church since 2010. Her passion is her work as the Creative and Technical Arts Director She fully engages the heart of each individual in every service, through integration of the message content with what is seen, heard and experienced seamlessly utilizing all her creative talents. Tasked with effectively combining the opposing worlds of production and creativity, she enjoys the challenge of translating a Pastor’s wish list into a well-coordinated and authentic Sunday worship experience. Jessica’s skills are also put to good use at home, where she and her husband, Chad, must maintain the smooth flow of the home with their five children.
Shawn Gray has been leading worship at Rock Point Church since 2007. Throughout his ministry in worship, Shawn has also had the privilege of working alongside some of Christian music’s finest as both an artist and songwriter. Shawn spent the better part of this twenties traveling the country on tour as an independent Christian artist, receiving radio play in many of the major music markets around the country as well as internationally. He has taught songwriting classes for Embassy Music, led worship at various leadership conferences, including IGNITE Conference 2013, youth camps and retreats across the country, and mentored younger worship leaders and musicians to help them grow closer to God, as well strengthen their skills as a musician.. He and his wife, Sarah have been leading worship together at Rock Point Church since 2007, and they have been happily married for almost 6 years. They are parents to a pretty funny and talented little three-year-old boy named Jack, named after Shawn’s mentor and late grandfather who Shawn lists as one of the most influential spiritual leaders in his life.
Scott Ridout is one of the two Lead Pastors (along with Chad Moore) at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona. Scott also invests his time as Director of Generosity for Converge Worldwide, serves on the leadership team of the Vision Arizona church planting movement and trains pastors to break through growth/health barriers through personal coaching. Sun Valley has been named as one of Outreach Magazine’s fastest growing churches in America 4 out of the last 6 years. He and his wife Lisa have been with Sun Valley Community Church for 21 years.

Dale Peterson was called into the ministry of Eagle Brook Church in April 2000 as the Pastor of Small Groups. In September 2001, He became the Pastor of Adult Ministry. It was his role to help equip adults in becoming authentic followers of Christ. In June of 2003, he was named Executive Pastor of Ministry and his role was to bring unity and leadership to all of the pastors and ministries of EBC. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the Eagle Brook Association. He received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education and continued his education at Indiana State University earning a Master of Science in Student Development while working full-time for the university. Most of his professional career has been in student development; most recently he spent 1990-2000 at Bethel University as the Associate Dean for Residence Life. His wife, Amy, were married in 1985 and have four wonderful kids—two boys and two girls.
Lee Stephenson, is the lead/founding pastor of Harvest Community Church in Mesa, AZ. In four years, Harvest has grown to over 800 in regular attendance, moved from a portable facility to a permanent one, and is uniquely impacting their surrounding community. Lee serves on the lead team for Vision Arizona. He is passionate about starting new churches, but also helping established churches thrive and prepare to reach the next generation.
